Coast Plaza, a shopping centre in Whangaparoa.

The Problem
Following the rebrand to Coast Plaza, there was a need to address the goal of: transforming Coast Plaza into a lively shopping destination for locals, with great shops, mouth-watering dining choices and regular family entertainment.

The Solution
A plan was developed, with a 12 month schedule of activities, all designed to improve awareness, to reposition Coast Plaza as as an attractive shopping destination, enhance the shopping experience, improve visitor engagement through social channels and support tenants. Every month a new promotion was created and launched in-store and through traditional and social media channels.

The Outcome
Foot traffic and sales improved, awareness lifted and the owners were able to engage a new facility management group.
