Over many years, Tongan Health has engaged in earnest and active research collaborations and partnerships.
In October 2022, Tongan Health Society established a new dedicated Research Centre facility in Wiri Auckland to conduct health research for underserved populations living with lifelong health conditions (specifically Māori and Pacific peoples, Tāngata Whaikaha (Māori with disability) and those experiencing learning (intellectual) disability) and their whānau to be supported to live the best possible life.
Our visual brand expression is inspired by the core principles of Langimalie Research Centre's purpose – people, academic research and improving the health and well-being of vulnerable Pacific communities.
Traditional Tongan graphic patterns were used to create a logo that communicates these principles, along with a sense of openness and a willingness to embrace and nurture.
